Our Facility

Brinnwood Farm is located in Siler City, NC, and offers a welcoming, well-equipped environment designed with both horse and rider in mind. Our 15-stall barn features spacious 12’ x 12’ stalls, each equipped with a corner feeder, multiple water buckets, a large hay net, and a high-velocity enclosed motor fan for added comfort.

The barn includes two grooming and bathing bays with hot and cold water, a dedicated tack room, and a bathroom with shower. A six-horse hot walker is also available for additional exercise and conditioning.

Riders have access to both an indoor and outdoor arena, as well as plenty of opportunities to hack around the farm. Trailer parking is included with board, making it convenient for those who enjoy hauling out for lessons, shows, clinics, or trail rides.

With just 15 stalls, our new facility allows us to maintain the relaxed atmosphere Brinnwood is known for while providing a more hands-on and individualized approach to each horse in our care.

Boarding Services

Stall Board

$1100

Our spacious 12’ x 12’ matted stalls are generously bedded and designed with each horse’s comfort in mind. Every stall is equipped with a large hay net filled with orchard/timothy hay, fresh water that is dumped and refilled at least daily, and a high-velocity fan for added comfort. Each boarder also has space for a tack trunk conveniently located at their horse’s stall. Eleven of our fifteen stalls feature exterior windows, providing additional natural light and allowing horses to look outside and enjoy their surroundings.

Horses are fed twice daily, with a selection of barn-provided feeds available or the option to provide your own grain. Our current grain offerings include Buckeye EQ8 Gut Health, Buckeye Cadence Ultra, and Purina SmartEdge Senior. Owner-provided supplements are happily fed as part of our daily routine.

Our horses follow a year-round nighttime turnout schedule, allowing them plenty of time outside to move, socialize, and forage naturally while enjoying the cooler overnight hours. Turnout is tailored to the individual horse, with individual, paired, and group turnout options available and horses separated by gender. During the colder months, orchard/fescue round bales are provided in the fields to help ensure horses have adequate access to forage when pasture growth is limited. Daytime turnout is also available upon request!

Blanketing is included in our board rate, with blankets changed as needed during both morning and evening care based on weather conditions and each horse’s individual needs.

Pasture Board

$625

Our pasture boarding program offers a relaxed, natural environment while maintaining the same attentive care provided to our stall-boarded horses. To ensure we can provide individualized care and avoid overcrowding, pasture board is offered on a limited basis with a select number of openings available.

Pasture horses are grouped by gender and thoughtfully matched within their turnout groups whenever possible. At feeding times, horses are separated individually to ensure each horse receives their complete meal without competition. Horses are fed twice daily, with barn-provided grain or the option to provide your own feed. Our current grain options include Buckeye EQ8 Gut Health, Buckeye Cadence Ultra, and Purina SmartEdge Senior, and owner-provided supplements are happily fed.

During the colder months, orchard/fescue round bales are provided to supplement pasture and ensure horses continue to receive adequate forage when grass is limited.

Blanketing is included with pasture board and is managed with the same attention as our stall boarding program. Blankets are changed as needed during morning and evening care according to weather conditions and each horse’s individual needs.

By intentionally limiting the number of pasture-boarded horses we accept, we’re able to maintain our focus on quality care, appropriate herd dynamics, and knowing each horse as an individual.
